Mamanista Contest: Win a Lindie and Friends Doll
We’re crazy for Lindie & Friends dolls. These huggable, handmade toys have a sweet, retro look and are the perfect size for baby or toddlers to snuggle. Each doll is made of soft high-quality fleece and cotton with hand-stitched faces, so there are no buttons which could pose a choking hazard.
Lindie & Friends creator Kara Lesondak, a former special education teacher, donates 10% of each sale to Crafty Kids, a non-profit she founded to teach toy-making to school children in NYC and Kenya. Eventually, the children will produce their own line of high-end toys with the profits going to the school in Kenya.
Each Lindie & Friends creation has a unique personality. Dolly (pictured at left) likes to play in the sandbox at the park and build sandcastles. She also loves show tunes and musicals and collects bottle caps.
($35 at Lindie & Friends)
Duncan (pictured at right) loves construction sites, trucks and cars. His favorite vehicle is a digger. He enjoys chasing butterflies and playing croquet. ($35 at Lindie & Friends)
The other 13 dolls are equally adorable, and the creative and quirky descriptions make me smile.
Which doll is your favorite? Tell us and you could win the doll of your choice.
Leave a comment by 11:59PM on July 31st about which Lindie & Friends doll is your favorite. If we pick your entry, you’ll receive the doll of your choice from Lindie & Friends. Make sure to leave a valid e-mail address or a link to your website, so I can contact you if you win.
Don’t forget to also enter our monthly contest–you can win a pair of ParkerG Baby Sunglasses by signing up for our newsletter!
