It Does a Body Good: Organic Milk Plus DHA Omega-3

I recently tried a sample of Horizon Organic Milk Plus DHA Omega-3.  I won’t attempt to describe the taste since I’m not as gifted as this popular reviewer. Also, it won’t come as a surprise to you that Horizon Organic Milk tastes like…milk.

Horizon Organic is produced with no antibiotics, no added growth hormones and no dangerous pesticides. It’s fortified with vitamins D and A as well as with DHA Omega-3 is enhanced with an Omega-3 fatty acid that helps support heart, brain and eye health. (For more information on DHA, click here.)

Since I’m pregnant, I’m extremely careful about what foods I eat and prefer drinking organic milk in order to avoid exposure to growth hormones and pesticides. In addition, my Ob-Gyn recommends that I include DHA Omega-3 to my diet. While I already take a special pre-natal vitamin with DHA, drinking Horizon Organic Milk  is another good way to improve my health.

I started drinking Horizons organic milk with the added DHA when I was about 6 months pregnant all the way up until I delivered. I often say my daughter is made of cereal because that’s all I wanted when I was pregnant with her. I would go through at least 4 of these cartons a week, the milk was so delicious to me its all I craved. My doctor said she was going to weigh maybe up to 7 lbs boy was he completely wrong! My little girl weighed 9lbs 1 oz!! I honestly believe it was the milk that made her so strong and big. 1 week after she was born she was already lifting her head on her own, she was so strong and observant everyone who met her was amazed at how strong she was being so young. She started walking at 9 months on her own! At 10 months she started squatting to potty she is teaching herself how to potty now!! She is almost 1 now and is so smart for her age we are all amazed. I know it was the milk that made her so smart and strong. Now pregnant with my second I started drinking this milk again. The only thing I’m worried about is having a 10lb baby if this happens to be a boy. My husband and I are very blessed and thankful for this milk for making our daughter so tough and strong.
