Writing letters to Santa Claus is an age-old tradition for children all over the world. Macy’s is collecting these letters in a special Santa letterbox at all Macy’s stores. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

While you’re at the mall doing your holiday shopping, stop by Macy’s to drop off your letter to Santa. It’s such an easy way to raise money for a wonderful charity. Almost 400,000 people have dropped off their letters so far, and that will grant a lot of wishes!

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is dear to our hearts at Mamanista since Make-A-Wish granted a wish for Candace’s wonderful and brave little cousin. You can also give directly to Make-A-Wish at www.wish.org.

If you’re still looking for a great last-minute Christmas gift, consider making a donation on behalf of a loved one. Make-A-Wish will send an e-card on your behalf or give you a link that lets you print out your own certificate to give. If you are looking to make a larger donation, you can even Adopt-A-Wish.
