Last-Minute Easter Recipe Advice

Photo used with permission of www.martieknowsparties.comMy son celebrated his first birthday on April 6th. I was so swept up in planning the details of his birthday party that I forgot to plan my Easter dinner. Two sites came to my rescue. The first is Martie Knows Parties, which is written by my dear friend and entertaining-expert Martie Duncan. The second is Making Life Better, which in run by the maker of some of my favorite foods Unilever.

Martie provides tips on how to throw a simple and “cheep cheep” (get the pun?) Easter party for the kids, which I’ll be using to plan the perfect egg hunt for my son’s first Easter. And Making Life Better lists some fast, easy and affordable spring recipes. I plan to try the Country-Style Glazed Ham and the Double-Berry Salad with Carmelized Almonds while I enjoy a Raspberry Tea Daiquiri. The site provides all sorts of budget-friendly and time-saving recipes, and -with a life as busy as mine- I need all the help I can get.
