Figure Fix: IsABelt

Posted by Debbie on May 29, 2009 | 4 Comments

I don’t want to wear high-waisted mom jeans, but I’m also not a fan of plumber butt.  I worry about exposing my undies- or worse- when I bend over to pick up the baby. So when I heard about the IsABelt, a clear belt that keeps your pants up without the bulk of a traditional belt, I was excited.

isabeltIsABelt is a thin, clear-elastic belt that invisibly holds up gaping jeans.  To use, just adjust the belt and hook it under the front button of your jeans.

IsABelt resembles a clear bra strap. But adjusting is not intuitive as IsABelt does not adjust like a bra strap.  Luckily, there are video instructions available on www.isabelt.com. It took me a few tries to figure it out, but now I can quickly adjust the belt to fit all of my pants.

I received a sample of the IsABelt, and it’s enabled me to wear fashionable jeans without showing the world my undies. I liked it so much that I bought one for my mom. If you’re between sizes but wear your pants low, you might want to buy one size up. For example, if you’re a size 10, I’d recommend  buying the Large IsABelt, which fits up to size 14, rather than the Medium, which fits up to size 10.

Buy online at www.isabelt.com for $16.95.

I don’t get it. Why not just wear a belt?

I think because most belts show (at least the buckle) under your shirt. Also, it is elasticized…so it moves with you better, I’m guessing. Since most of the shirts I wear now I leave out (not tucked in), I’m interested in getting this…and I think I might now.

This is a fantastic idea! I have to get one! I have still been wearing my bella band under my jeans to cover the plumber butt. This is a much idea.

I love the isabelt! It is such a great creation. Plus you can wear it with shirts that are longer and slimmer where you do not want the belt bulge. It works great, trust me everyone should try an isabelt!
