Kids love to design their own–customizing gives them sense of accomplishment, plus it is creative and fun. Why choose an ordinary gift that anyone can buy when you can make your very own unique CurlyQ Cuties plush monster?
CurlyQ Cuties gave my daughter an opportunity to design her own plush monster and my preschooler is delighted with the results!
First, we had a fabulous time choosing the shape and color for the body, belly, mouth, and eyes. With so many variations available, there are over 427,904,400 unique possibilities. The design interface makes it so easy to see how each choice changes your monster. Of course, my little girl chose the “diva” body in hot pink. She added some light green accents to her stylish creation and we checked out.
Within a few days, her special monster friend arrived at our door. Good thing, too, because she asked me about it every day. She just could not wait to see her design come to life.
Because the monsters are crafted from washable anti-pill fleece and felt, they are soft and cuddly and appropriate for children of all ages. Babies will love the colorful designs, toddlers and preschoolers will want a monster to protect them from less friendly dream creatures, and school aged children will find these funky friends to be a very cool companion for sleepovers. And I won’t be surprised to see CurlyQ Cuties popping up in dorm rooms around the country.
Her new monster pal was lovingly handmade in Austin, Texas, and I think CurlyQ Cuties is definitely doing their part to keep Austin weird…and wonderful!
And CurlyQ Cuties participates in and gives back to the mom community, too. If you are on twitter, you may have noticed @CurlyQCutes charming monster poetry: “Come play with us. We dare you to. We’ll make a #Monster just for you.”
Besides being a social media bard, CurlyQ Cuties founder, mompreneur Stephanie Estrin, is also donating sales of “Maddie’s Monster“, an adorable and friendly purple monster, to the March of Dimes in memory of Maddie–a cause Mamanista also supports.
CurlyQCuties are a clever idea from a generous and creative mom who knows what kids like. Adopt a monster today and your kids will say hurray! With apologies to Bugs Bunny, “In my business you meet so many interesting people…but the most interesting ones are the monsters.”
