Crazy for Cars
If your little ones are crazy for cars, make their holiday dreams come true with this line of exclusive cars from RosieHippo.com.
RosieHippo.com is a top source for organic toys, wooden toys and handcrafted quality toys. All of the toys have been carefully selected by owner Kim Bloom. Kim is a mom, and the line of exclusive cars and trucks came from her son Ethan’s requests.
My son has the small Rosie Hippo Recycling Truck toy ($6). Made of natural Maple Wood in the USA, this truck is sturdy and smooth. It’s held up to a considerable amount of abuse since Kim sent it to me as a sample in August, and it still looks as good as new. The wheels are smooth, so the truck can reach a fast speed on our kitchen floor. (My previous attempt at purchasing a wooden car at a craft fair ended in failure as the car couldn’t roll quickly enough to entertain my son.)
For the holidays, I am purchasing the exclusive Rosie Hippo Racing Team Truck pictured here. (It’s currently on sale for $38.) My son will love this truck since it has two formula one racers that ride on the back. It is made from responsibly harvested, unfinished, maple wood right here in the USA. I am confident it will be one of his favorites, and the quality materials make it heirloom-quality. When I purchase toys, I try to buy things that will last for many years and that could be passed lovingly onto another child still looking new.
It was hard to pick just one truck. Kim’s favorite is the Rosie Hippo Moving Truck, which she created at the request of her son. Ethan carts around his treasures and toys in the back of this adorable wooden truck. A Firetruck, Log Truck and School Bus complete the line.
I try to support small businesses when I shop, and Rosie Hippo is a great example of a business that cares about giving back to the local community. Rosie Hippo has given away thousands of dollars in toys this holiday season to RoomToGrow.org and other charities. When you purchase your holiday gifts, please try (if your budget allows) to purchase from these small businesses.
WANT IT: Visit www.rosiehippo.com and use coupon code ROSIE20 to get 20% off your purchase.
WIN IT: Kim is giving one Mamanista reader a chance to win a Rosie Hippo Exclusive Wooden Truck ($44 ARV). The winner can pick between the Racing Team Truck, Moving Truck, Firetruck, Log Truck or School Bus.
