Last-Minute Christmas Deal: Get 25% Off RosieHippo.com Toys

There’s still time to shop at one of Mamanista’s favorite stores. Order from Rosie Hippo by Monday 12/20 for Christmas Delivery, and you can get a special Friends & Family Deal. Get 25% Off RosieHippo.com using coupon code 2010HOLIDAY25.

Candace and I discovered Rosie Hippo a few years ago and fell in love with their selection of natural toys, wooden toys and educational toys. The owner is now a friend of ours, but we want you to know we’re not being paid to post about Rosie Hippo here. Nor are we posting because we’re getting free product. In fact, I just ordered a bunch of Rosie Hippo products as Christmas presents using the 25% off code. Here’s what I bought:

A Wooden Teether: I’m expecting a baby boy in April, and my son loved Rosie’s cute wooden teething toys when he was a baby. Since the cute little Duck Ring teether was on sale, I bought it now for my baby-to-be!

A School Bus: My son loves the wooden garage he got from RosieHippo.com for his birthday. He already has a lot of wooden cars for the garage, and I bought the cute wooden school bus for his collection.

Wooden Animals: When my son was an infant, his room has a safari theme. I’ve since moved him to a “big boy” room with a car theme because he adores Lightning McQueen from the Disney CARS movie. We’re going to use the same safari theme and bedding for the new baby’s room, but I still want to make his nursery feel special rather than just a hand-me down from his big brother. So I purchased a bunch of beautiful hand-painted wooden animals from Rosie Hippo to match the safari theme. I’ll be mounting some shelves on the walls to display the lion, tiger, zebra, elephant and giraffe that I purchased. As baby grows older, he’ll enjoy playing with these heirloom-quality toys and can someday pass them on to his children.

Block Crayons: My son loves drawing and playing with crayons, but even chunky toddler-sized crayons are easily broken. I purchased a set of non-toxic beeswax block crayons that are virtually unbreakable. We’ll be using these for years!

Build-A-Pencil Kits: I bought these as stocking stuffers for my pre-teen goddaughters.  I love these eco-friendly Build-A-Pencil kits. Rather than throwing out a pencil because the eraser is worn-down, just replace the old eraser with a new one and keep on writing and drawing! What a fun way to teach kids about helping the environment and reducing waste.

  3. I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.

My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on various websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

Just had to be the first to leave a comment, Paul.My New Year’s ruiloetson involves procrastination. Nearly 11 hours into the new year and so far I haven’t put anything off that I should take care of. Only 364 days and 13 hours left for a perfect year with no procrastination.
