Reading, Writing and Arithmetic are important, but so is character education. As your children head back to school, you’ll want to talk to them about what it means to be a good friend and how to deal with bullying. Books are the best way to introduce and discuss difficult concepts like bullying or fitting in at school. One of my favorite authors is Trudy Ludwig, and I’ve recommended her books “My Secret Bully” and “Just Kidding” before on Mamanista.
Please join Mamanista and Melissa from Stockpiling Moms for a fabulous Live Chat & Q&A with nationally acclaimed speaker and an award-winning author Trudy Ludwig this Wednesday, August 24th at 7pm EST. Trudy Ludwig specializes in writing children’s books that help kids cope with and thrive in their social world. She has received rave reviews from educators, experts, organizations, and parents for her passion and compassion in addressing friendship, bullying, and cyberbullying issues. Trudy will be ‘appearing’ for the Q&A. We will also giveaway five copies of the author’s book during the chat too!
