Olive Garden’s Buy One, Take One Promo is a Time-saver for Busy Moms!

At the end of a busy week, all I can think about is having a delicious meal and a glass of wine (or three!). With two little ones running around this rarely happens, but this past weekend my husband and I were able to plan a date night to Olive Garden. Most dinners out are usually work-related, so a date night was long overdue. It’s been some time since I had been to Olive Garden, so this was also a good opportunity to see what’s new on their menu (since I see their commercials all the time and I am left salivating!) Most of you know I am half Italian, so I am very fussy about Italian food. They had a number of new entrees which made making a decision all that much tougher! I am partial to Chicken Parm, but I was in the mood to try something new.

GRA0135241 LOGO2Olive Garden is currently running a “Buy One, Take One” meal promotion which I knew would be perfect for the kids for the following day. They LOVE Olive Garden’s food (especially the breadsticks), so this was a no brainer. I chose the Mezzaluna Ravioli with Five Cheese marinara for my dinner and it was beyond AMAZING. Everyone knows about their endless salad and breadsticks (which could be a meal in and of itself), and what my husband and I didn’t eat that evening we brought home for the kids… plus with the Buy One, Take One we had a whole additional dinner coming home! I brought home the Spaghetti with Four Cheese Meat Sauce and it was a huge hit with the kids. Whichever dish you request to bring home is cooked fresh, then chilled and brought to your table ready to go home.

BOTO_specials_03This is a busy mom’s dream come true – TWO whole dinners that I don’t have to cook or worry about (cue the chorus of angels)!

This promotion was a total time saver and I definitely recommend that busy parents take advantage of it the next time you are craving savory Italian! It was worth the money (and really $12.95 is total steal for 2 big meals) for home cooked Italian and saved me time for the next evening.

What more can a Mom ask for?
