Ok. It’s no secret that I’m OBSESSED with doll’s houses, Lundby doll’s houses in particular.  I received my first Smaland house over a year ago and it continues to bring my family and I great joy, laughter, and enough creative brainstorming to outlast any other toy in our house. Lundby dolls houses: A modern twist on a classic play time, Part 1

Lundby dolls houses: A modern twist on a classic play time, Part 1

When I was a little girl, I dreamt of having a doll house, but my mom (a single mother at the time) just couldn’t afford one. I’d visit friend’s houses, with their girly bedrooms all decorated with pink frilly pillows and their toy chests overflowing with the latest and greatest gadgets, but I always gravitated towards their doll houses. In it you could get lost in a sea of magic, decorating and redecorating a room … Read entire article »

A Day at the Beach in a Tent for Ten (or more)

A Day at the Beach in a Tent for Ten (or more)

School may be starting up, soon, but summer still has some life left in it. We live near the beach and like to spend as much time outdoors in the nice weather as possible. My son enjoys peeking out from the shuttle windows and opening and closing the doors.  Since he loves the Toy Story … Read entire article »

Win a Palace for Your Princess

Win a Palace for Your Princess

Girlie little princesses who want a playspace of their own will adore the Playskool Dream Town Sweet Lily Castle. We’re loving this well-designed play house (ahem, castle) from the Playskool Dream Town Collection. Although I always prefered GI Joe to Barbie and black to pink, my preschooler is drawn to pretty shoes and dresses in the cotton candy colored shade. And from the little one’s perspective, this is just about as princess as you get. … Read entire article »
