Stuck on You

I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a label fanatic. Labels combine my childhood love of stickers and my grown-up obsession with organization.

I own a label-maker, which gets a lot of use in my house. If you’re looking for an inexpensive label, I would definitely use a label-maker. But when you need a label that can stand up to daily use, I.D. Me Labels is a good choice.

Stylish Bouncy Seat: The BabyBjörn Babysitter Balance

Finally, a bouncy seat that matches all my cool Ikea furniture. I love Swedish design!

The stylish BabyBjörn Babysitter Balance is really more like a designer accessory than a piece of baby gear. The reversible fabric gives you four color schemes in one, and the solidly constructed frame has three positions for baby–play, rest and sleep. There’s also the ability to fold the entire seat flat so you can store it under the bed, the couch, or in the trunk of the car…

HappyMELTS Make Baby Happy

We’re fans of the HAPPYBABY philosophy. Delicious, organic, nutrient-packed baby foods. HAPPYBABY partners with the eminent Dr. Robert Sears and dietician Amy Marlow to produce food that you can be confident about sharing with your baby.

Now they have come up with HAPPYMELTS, an organic, freeze-dried, yogurt snack, which is a great for toddlers if you can pry it out of mom’s hands.

High (Side) Impact

After seeing firsthand how Britax car seats perform when really needed, I am incredibly thankful that we choose Britax and their “True Side Impact Protection”.

Britax sent us two new seats, including Advocate CS, a convertible toddler car seat. The advocate is very similar to the Boulevard CS, with an additional “Side Cushion Technology”…

Conserve and Preserve–One Bite at a Time!

We love the “new again” trend of packing school lunches in reusable containers–it is a little way even small children can push back against a society addicted to disposables. Plus, many of the containers like the ones at Kids Konserve are so eco-chic!

Supporting The Shop Around the Corner

Looking for a last-minute Hanukkah present or last-minute Christmas present? Visit your local toy store! There are so many benefits to shopping locally. One of the big benefits: education. Local stores provide personalized service. I have a great relationship with my local store owner, and I have appreciated some of their tips and product recommendations. My neighborhood toy store carries unique educational toys. But I bet you didn’t know that you are actually supporting your local schools when you shop locally.

Driving in my car…Beep, Beep!

The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe is, hands down, the most popular toy at our play dates.

We’ve been able to teach the toddlers and preschoolers to line up, inspired by their desire for a turn at the Cozy Coupe…
