Aquafina Celebrates Moms

I recently had a chance to attend a special Mom’s Night Out Event in Philadelphia at the fabulous Morimoto restaurant, which was sponsored by Aquafina FlavorSplash and MomCentral.  The night was all about celebrating motherhood and mom bloggers, and it was so much fun to meet some other Philly Moms.

Tea for you, Tea for me: Gourmet Tea Gifts

Some people enjoy fine wine, but that’s an expensive hobby. Gourmet tea is an affordable luxury. You can travel the world through your tea cup by sampling teas from China, India, Africa and South America as well as unique herbal teas (tisanes). When I lived in Boston, I was a regular customer at TeaLuxe, and I frequently shop at Teavana.  Recently I’ve become a fan of the Language of the Leaf’s gourmet teas after meeting their owner Neeta Khanna who sent me a wide variety of her teas to sample. Neeta gave me some free samples, but I’ve since become a paying customer.

Home, Home on the Range

The last of the sweet suite of Frigidaire appliances I received distinguishes itself with its intuitive features. Actually, this is two appliances: the Range and the mounted Microwave. Like the rest of the Gallery appliances, the range and microwave look sharp. Even more importantly, they have a large number of time-saving and convenient options.

What Else is in My Frigidaire Refrigerator? A BIG Heart!

Frigidaire promises that their appliances will give you back more “me” time. Even better, let’s make that some “we” time.

Jennifer Garner, Frigidaire celebrity spokesperson (and awesome mom, despite having totally stolen the name Violet from me), are teaming up in support of Save the Children.

Airing My Dirty Laundry

Affinity Washer and Dryer “appliances”. It is like some advanced alien civilization visited my laundry room and left behind their space-age technology.

Maybe it is just because I’m frugal, but I’ve never owned anything quite like this before. Sure, the other appliances are good. They are more efficient, sharper-looking, and roomier than my old ones. But the washer/dryer are a whole other species of home electronics…

Now My Dishwasher is Named Frigidaire

There’s a member of my family who takes a little ribbing for an insistence on washing each dish thoroughly before placing it in the dishwasher–and the dishes are so immaculate no one knows if the washer has been run or not. This person insists that is the only way the dishes get clean. Add to that the time spent drying the dishes after the dishwasher is done, and there is almost no point in putting the dishes in the dishwasher.

So, I was really hoping that our new Frigidaire dishwasher would cut down on the time and effort we put into washing dishes in our household…

Frigidaire Refrigerator Keeps Me Organized

Earlier, I announced I was part of the Frigidaire Mom Test Drive Team and promised to share my experience testing out Frigidaire’s More Me Time Guarantee.

The appliances (courtesy of Frigidaire) have started to arrive so let’s check them out! Is the new Frigidaire refrigerator super cool, or just lukewarm?

I am so excited. In thirty minutes, I completely transformed my bathroom using Muralette Wall Decals. My blah blah boring bathroom is now a fishie-themed wonderland that fascinates my toddler.
