Baby Sleeps Safely and Soundly with the Halo SleepSack Swaddle

The Halo SleepSack Swaddle is the Cadillac of swaddlers. It’s lusciously soft, and it’s designed to not only help your baby sleep better by preventing the “moro” (startle) reflex, but also to reduce the risk of SIDS. And it’s so simple to use, even a sleep-deprived parent of a newborn can put it on swiftly and easily.

It’s well-known that immobilizing the arms of your infant by swaddling them helps them sleep better–but that’s sometimes easier said than done…

Momma Gotta Have: Miss Gigi-Mae Tether System

The Miss Gigi-Mae Tether System is a Momma Gotta Have. If you’ve ever reached around to grab a toy off the floor of your car while driving or picked your child’s sippy cup off a grimy restaurant floor, you’ll understand the need for this tether system.

This mom-invented product is designed to attach to a carseat, stroller or high chair. Simply attach baby’s toys or sippy cup to the four retractable clips to keep them off the floor and safely in reach. (You can view a demo of this product here. )

I’ll admit that I was unprepared for the amount of laundry just one small, drooling baby can create. I never imagined that I’d be doing so many loads of laundry.
BonnBonn Baby’s special fabric has reduced my laundry burden by keeping baby’s crib sheets, bibs and onesies dry and fresh-smelling– reducing the number of sheet and outfit changes needed on a daily basis.
BonnBonn Baby is the only baby line to use EcoFresh certified antimicrobial protection with a patented moisure-control wicking fabric. Unlike those stiff antimicrobial shopping cart covers, BonnBonn Baby’s fabric …

You can get great deals on breastfeeding essentials at Nursing Mother Supplies! Owned and operated by a mom and certified lactation consultant, Nursing Mother Supplies offers excellent customer service.
When my son was born in April, Jen (the owner) helped me pick out just the right bras and breastpump accessories. I knew I liked the Bravado Original Nursing Bra (see full review here) since I’d originally purchased some from figleaves for $45 each to use as maternity bras during my pregnancy.
After baby was born and I started breastfeeding, I discovered that I needed A LOT more bras. (Why …

As a breastfeeding mom, I’m really attached to my baby in the literal sense. Newborns need to eat frequently, with some “dining at mom’s” every two hours or so.  If you want to breastfeed and go back to work, go out on a child-free date with your husband, or just have someone else take one of those night feedings, you need to pump and store your milk.  Here are some of my favorite picks for pumping it up!
Breastpump: Some mothers find they are successful with a simple hand pump but …

The kitchen is the heart of the home. In most households, family life centers around the kitchen. It’s where we cook, eat, play and work. And kids like to be where the action is.
(Need proof? I’m typing this blog post at my kitchen table while my son plays on the floor next to me with a bunch of Tupperware containers and a wooden spoon!)
If you love cooking, the Learning Tower from Little Partners is a must have ($200 at Sugarplum Dreams). Kids love to help in the kitchen, and it’s a lot easier if they …

Kids across the country head back to school next week. I don’t have a school-aged child, but I do have a teenage mother’s helper who comes a few days a week to help with the baby. So “Back to School” meant I needed to find a new babysitter.
While I’m fortunate to live close to my mother who can babysit occasionally for free, many grandmas today have jobs, volunteer work and busy lives. Even if you are lucky enough to live near your family, you might not be able to rely on …

There’s a lot that gets stuck to kids, food, mud, random strays, but unfortunately one thing that never seems to stick is the name labels you attach to their stuff.
Mabel’s Labels is here to rescue you and your child’s gear from the lost and found.
Mabel’s Labels have cute icons, are available in a variety of colors, and come in money-saving packs.  The real attraction, though, is these dishwasher-safe and machine washable labels actually work–on clothing, sippy cups, bottles, lunchboxes, school supplies, and pretty much anywhere you can think to stick …
