Win a Digital Photo Frame from Staples!

Staples sent us one of their great gift items to try out: the Omnitech™ 7” Digital Photo Frame (ARV $99.99, on sale right now for $59.99).
Digital Photo Frames make great gifts for gadget lovers.  I’m giving the Omnitech™ 7” Digital Photo Frame to my husband so he can display and share hundreds of pictures of our children without cluttering up his desk at work.  This is also a great grandparent present because there is no need to choose a favorite shot.  Every photograph can be in the best spot in …

Before baby was born, I used to finish all of my Christmas cards on the day after Thanksgiving. It was an important holiday tradition for me. I used Christmas cards to get in touch with old friends and to send photos to those elderly relatives and friends who just haven’t gotten the hang of email. This year, I waited until the last-minute to get started…but my cards will still arrive before Christmas Day.
Even if you haven’t started on your Christmas cards yet, it is not too late to make and send a personalized …

I’m a compulsive amateur photographer and I also work from home as a writer.  So, I should be embarrassed to admit that I am part of the 85% of the US population that does not backup files.  If my laptop dies (and it is kind of limping along right now), any photos I have not already uploaded and many of my projects would be lost.
Clickfree External Hard Drive Backup System has made it super easy for me to get back on track and protect my files. All I did …

We’re a family of shutterbugs.  I got my love of photography from my Dad and, now that I have children, my mother, mother in law, and I exchange pictures of the kids several times a month.
I upload the photos to Shutterfly, crop and enhance, and then share them with my closest family and friends. But what if I happened to run into an old acquaintance or wanted to display a small selection of photos for a wider circle?  For a while I was using a free blog and other photo …

I love my digital camera. Since I don’t have to pay for film, I can take hundreds of photos in one session in order to capture the perfect pose. But the downside to digital photography is that it’s hard to find the time in my hectic mommy schedule to actually print all those beautiful photos.
I treasure the baby book my mother created for me, and I always intended to create a baby book when I had a child. But four months after his birth, the baby book I lovingly purchased when I was pregnant still lies unopened on a shelf. I’ve …

Imagine snapping holiday photos, instantly printing them for a family scrapbook, and creating photo thank you notes for all the generous gifts.
You can do all of this and more–printing, copying, and scanning, with or without a computer–with the EPSON Ultra Hi-Defiition RX595 Photo All-in-One.
Even without a computer, you can print a proof sheet, select the photos you wish to print, use an auto-correct feature (which includes face recognition so those sweet little mugs really shine), crop, and create special projects, like photo cards. You can also scan and restore …

At our house, we take a lot of pictures. Granny, Grandma, and me are all obsessed with chronicling Baby Diva, the early years.
So, I was very excited to have the opportunity to test the Epson PictureMate Dash. We immediately had an opportunity to see the convenience of this new photo printer. The ladies at Captain Dad’s office had been demanding new pictures of baby but we hadn’t gotten around to placing a new order at an online photo printing service.
With the easy to follow instructions, I …

Babies love to look at faces and the unfortunate reality of modern life is we often find ourselves far from family.
Play to baby’s interests and keep long-distance loved ones close with a Sassy Who Loves Baby? Photo Cube ($12.95).
When Baby Diva was born, Captain Dad was deployed and her grandparents lived halfway across the country. I showed her pictures of her family every night but she was too young to hold the frames herself.
Soft blocks, on the other hand, are a great baby toy–easy to hold and stack and, …
