It’s June and wedding season is in high gear. Whether you have 1 or 10 nuptial affairs to attend, you have gifts to purchase for the shower and/or the actual wedding itself. What’s a guest to do? Well you’re in luck, because I have done the guesswork for you! I have created a list of […]
According to a recent survey by Child’s Play Communications, the number one thing moms want for Mother’s Day is something handmade from their child. Yet nearly 1/4 of moms receive nothing on Mother’s Day…and that’s just a shame. Homemade gifts and cards are treasured, but adult children — who may have outgrown their arts & […]
As a mom, I know that many of the toys advertised on TV look amazing but then sit unused in the toy box. When I enter my local toy store, I see items that I know my kids will love and use. With a special eye for relevance and all out fun, small toy store owners handpick […]
I wrote before about how much my boys love Peppa Pig on NIck Jr. Peppa Pig is a lovable, cheeky little pig from the UK, and the charming cartoon follows her family life and daily activities. When I lived in Boston, I was a regular customer at TeaLuxe, and I frequently shop at Teavana. Recently I’ve become a fan of the Language of the Leaf’s gourmet teas after meeting their owner Neeta Khanna who sent me a wide variety of her teas to sample. Neeta gave me some free samples, but I’ve since become a paying customer.

As the mother of an active toddler, I barely remember my pre-baby self. Lyss Stern, founder of Divalyssicious Moms, sent me a copy of her new book If You Give a Mom a Martini: 100 Ways to Find 10 Blissful Minutes for Yourself.
