Digital Scrapbooking Project: Make a Family Tree Album in Less Than One Hour

Posted by Mamanista on Jul 24, 2007 | One Comment

Digital scrapbooking is easy-to-do and affordable. Once you learn how to scrapbook, you’ll be able to make great homemade presents on a budget.

One of my latest scrapbooking projects was the Family Tree Kit at ScrapQuick. For $2.49, I got everything I needed to make a 4×6 mini-album. I just dropped in the photos and typed in some journaling quotes. Then I printed the entire album for 12 cents a page on Shutterfly and inserted the printed scrapbook pages into a standard size photo album I found at a dollar store. (If you have a photo printer, you could even do the printing at home.)

It was an easy way to document some family history, and it made a great gift for my grandfather. Since I own the kit, I can make as many copies as I want for other family members.
