Kids in the Kitchen: Learning Tower Discount Code and Contest

Posted by Debbie on Nov 17, 2008 | 445 Comments

The kitchen is the heart of the home. In most households, family life centers around the kitchen. It’s where we cook, eat, play and work. And kids like to be where the action is.

(Need proof? I’m typing this blog post at my kitchen table while my son plays on the floor next to me with a bunch of Tupperware containers and a wooden spoon!)

If you love cooking, the Learning Tower from Little Partners is a must have ($200 at Sugarplum Dreams). Kids love to help in the kitchen, and it’s a lot easier if they aren’t perched precariously on a kitchen chair or step stool.

The Learning Tower’s spacious (15″ x 18″) wooden platform has four-sided rails and a tip-proof base for your child’s safety.  The platform is adjustable (no tools needed!) and can be set at four different heights depending on your child’s age/height.

The Learning Tower is a high-quality piece of furniture that will stand up to years of tough use and look elegant in your kitchen. It even meets the safety standards for home playground equipment! It’s available in nine colors (natural wood, ebony, white, cherry, pink, red, royal blue, azure, and apple green) to match your decor.

But the Learning Tower is more than just a safer step stool. With the accessory kits, you can turn the Learning Tower into a play house, puppet theater, or chalkboard to keep your kids entertained for hours. The new Art Easel accessory ($69.99 at Sugarplum Dreams) is perfect for your little artist. This easel features a blackboard on one side and a magnetized dry-erase board on the other, so you can display your tot’s artistic masterpieces.
