Baby Steps…Woodpeckers Peck

Posted by Debbie on Nov 28, 2008 | 195 Comments

Pre-walkers, toddlers, and preschoolers will enjoy pushing around this WoodPecker Walker from Plan Toys (BabyEarth – $72).

Every step your tot takes will result in a rewarding clacking sound as the two woodpeckers “peck” at the wooden walker. According to the experts, this walker helps with gross motor development, physical development and postural control. I’m not an expert…but I do know that my son is delighted by the motion of the woodpeckers. And this toy doesn’t even require batteries!

Parents will be happy to know that the WoodPecker Walker is made by Plan Toys, a green company from renewable organic rubberwood using non-toxic glue and non-toxic water-based dyes.

WANT IT: Buy online at BabyEarth for $72.

WIN IT: Visit PlanToys and leave us a comment by 11:59 PM EST, December 9 letting us know which item at Plan Toys (besides the WoodPecker Walker) is on your Holiday Wish List. U.S. Shipping Only.

Click here to find out how you can receive up to two extra entries.

This sweepstakes is part of our 12 Days of Giveaways. Remember to come back everyday for a new giveaway. Better yet, subscribe to our e-mail digest so you’ll never miss a hip review, chic sweeps, or fabulous deal.
