Win a Family Four-Pack to See Sesame Street Live at Madison Square Garden

Posted by Candace on Feb 2, 2009 | 40 Comments

Sesame Street Live with ElmoWhen I was a tot, my parents used to take me into the city to see live shows at Madison Square Garden.  And I also grew up on Sesame Street, with its celebration of diversity, neighborhood spirit, and sharing…and rubber duckies, cookies, and Snuffleupagus, too.

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

Why, yes, yes I can.  In fact, if you are able to get to Madison Square Garden, Mamanista can take you there!

Sesame Street Live “Elmo Makes Music” is coming to the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City!

Mark your calendar for a musical event like no other – monsters making music! Elmo, Zoe, Big Bird and all their Sesame Street friends are taking to the stage to share their love of music. Count along with The Count, visit Elmo’s World, do the Crumb-A-Rumba with Rosita, and much more!

Madison Square Garden and Sesame Street Live would like everyone to know that they can get a 25% discount off of tickets to Sesame Street Live “Elmo Makes Music” (shows run February 5-16, just click to use the promotion).

And, they’ve teamed up with Mamanista to send one of our subscriber families a family four-pack of voucher tickets ($148). You can use these vouchers for any of the Sesame Street Live shows in February, subject to availability.

Want It: Get 25% discount off of tickets to Sesame Street Live at Madison Square Garden (shows run February 5-16).

Win It: To enter to win a Family Four Pack of Tickets to Sesame Street Live in February (ARV $148, dates subject to availability), please do both of the following by 9 PM EST, Sunday, February 8:

Grover is my favorite. One of my very favorite books when I was little was “There’s a Monster at the End of this Book.” I still have it… and Zoe loves it too. Of course, Zoe (my 3 year old), her favorite is Elmo… although Big Bird runs a close 2nd!

One day while in the super market with my daughter Brittany(3 at the time)she let out a blood curdling scream. I said “whats the matter, whats the matter” as I checked her to see if she were hurt or if the shopping cart were pinching her, I could not figure out what was wrong. I pleaded with her to tell me, with a horrified look on her face, she pointed at the store shelf. Someone had taken a Sesame Street Character bottle of Elmo bubble bath and replaced the head shaped cap with an Oscar the Grouch head. She was traumatized, I was relieved that she was not hurt, and later it was really funny.

My boyfriend took me to Sesame Place for our 2nd official date. I was 16 at the time and he was 18 and knew I loved the Sesame street characters (Ernie is my favorite with his rubber ducky!!!). So we’re walking around eating and he’s asking me questions about myself, getting all in my business and Big Bird comes walking out… HE DROPPED HIS DRINK AND STARTED RUNNING LIKE A LITTLE BABY!!! He said he wasn’t afraid, but surprised (yeah right!). Now 6 years later, he’s my husband and everytime I tell that story to our little girl he swears Daddy wasn’t scared but Big Bird was chasing Mommy down the street and he had to do something about it! So crazy! Lucky for me, he didn’t scare her away from Sesame Street with the Big Bird story and that is her favorite show. Her favorite character is cookie monster and she has a million stuffed cookie monsters! She would love to see the show

My oldest son, 19 now, used to love guessing the number of the day. We could not leave the house until he found out what it was and he always got so excited if he guessed correctly.
Sesame Street will always be a favorite in our house.
