Muggles, get your engines started for the drive (or flight) down to Orlando. I had the privilege of viewing the highly anticipated webcast announcement of the details surrounding the Harry Potter World Expansion in Universal Studios, and wow there’s so many new and exciting things they are bringing to an already enthralling theme park! Set […]
The #JerseyLove Social Media Moms Retreat was a huge success and raised a total of $5k for displaced families along the Jersey Shore. These moms and bloggers pulled out all of the stops to bring attention to the destruction Hurricane Sandy caused to so many shore towns in NJ and NY and to show the […]
With my kids home during the day and on the weekends during the summer, it’s hard for me to come up with fun activities and outings to keep them entertained while staying on budget. Parents, does this sound familiar? This summer the Philadelphia Museum of Art is kicking-off Art Splash, a new series of exhibitions, festivals, […]
The 4th of July is this week… this summer is flying by so fast! I don’t know about you, but I am getting excited for some delicious barbecue, colorful fireworks and making more great memories with family and friends. There’s no better way to spend America’s birthday in my opinion! As I start my party […]
My family spent the 4th of July in Atlantic City as guests of the Atlantic City Alliance. Before our trip, I wrote about how Atlantic City is working to transform its image, and I was not disappointed by the spectacular new Duality show at Boardwalk Hall.

Most of us can probably count on our children being fed to their bodies’ content at any moment of any day. But millions of kids and parents face the summer with worry; the breakfasts and lunches being fed to them during school will be missing.
Summer is my favorite season. My kids love swimming, playing and dining outside. Aside from battling pesky mosquitoes during our evening meals, our biggest outdoor challenge is finding a way to clean patio furniture and grimy pool toys.
